So... I think that le devART has gone completely commercial and am thus disgusted with it. I hate this site anymore... I never come on it just because it is stinky. *sigh* I miss my friends here, but my abhorrence for the current devART keeps me away.

I may / should upload some icons here, though. I've been making icons like a fiend, and people on Livejournal seem to enjoy them. They're 100 x 100 pixels, which is the best avatar / icon / userpic size, really. Don Eppes' head fits so nicely, and you can even add some lovely text alluding to his emotional problems. :)

So, I will not be bought by this SECOND (at least, to my knowledge) attempt to sway me into purchasing a paid account here. I love Livejournal oodles more, and will most likely give my money to THEM.

Eat that, $spyed.

Thank you ever so much for the favourite, sweetie

And a propos your journal - I classified all my books some time ago. Not a big collection, just over 400, but it was enough to keep me at home for a week... I typed them all into Excel, gave each one a number, labelled them and now I just look up the number and which shelf it's on and presto!

... Come to think of it I could have done it much easier. Like my Dad with his CD collection (over 6000 CDs). He simply said that the big room in the cellar is HIS *fullstop* and he hung rows upon rows of shelves on the walls and put att he CDs up alphabetically. But seeing as I don't have a big room with tonnes of shelves I have to make do with lots of small shelves scattered around the house.

Yay. Rants are fun. :D

How brilliant! And I thought I was the only one who liked a nice, neat private library! :) Yours is a great idea.... hmm... :)

I'm so SICK of not being able to grab any book of mine that I please; they've all been boxed up and shoved into closets in my attic since the summer, when I 'thought' I was going to repaint my room. :( Oh, it's not fun.

Your dad's collection (although somewhat totalitarian ;) ) sounds amazing. :D

Hey, I know you live in Poland *squeals*... do you live near Warsaw / the Ukrainian boarder? (if you're not comfortable saying, that's cool) I'm going to the Ukraine for a missions trip this summer, and we might be flying into Warsaw and driving from there to Miliyeve (Meliyevo?)... have you been to Warsaw? Is there anything I should check out while I'm there? :) *is excited*
:iconkourinthellama:
I live in Warsaw, yay!

But not much interesting stuff here, really. The Palace of Culture and Science is a must and it's difficult to miss, as it's a huge monolith standing slap-bang in the middle of the city - you can take a lift to the top floor (35th if memory serves me correctly) and take a look at Warsaw from a height - it's quite a view :) And the Lazienki park is also a must, but that would take up quite some time, as it's really big. Besides that... Well, the Old Town, obviously - I know it makes an impression on most non-Europeans ;)

Nope, I didn't change it; I never downloaded it for my new computer. It gave my old one viruses something awful, so I'm wary of putting it on my angelbabygoddess laptop. But that sucks, because I miss talking to you. :( Have you got AIM or MSN? I can't guarentee being online all the much, but you'll have a better shot with those than with YIM.

Speaking of internety things... I REALLY have to update / reply to the stuff on Silence_Speaks. :( I'm such a weenie. *sigh*

It's got pros and cons. It's a giant pain to have to re-friend everyone from your old account... especially the artists that don't show up on your 'Friend Of' box thingy. But, if you wanna start anew, or don't feel that your old name suits ya anymore, I'd go for it!

But, for me, this is my last one. Grah... it's too much of a pain to accomodate for a whole new name, and I don't plan on changing much after this. I really like myself now.

Oh my gosh... it's 3am. :fear: I am so... so in deep merde. :D

I'm your favorite photo-graph-er? :-O

:D

Yay! Welcome back, Natalie. Did you know... that with that one thousand something dollars you dropped on a computer... with just a thousand something odd dollars more you could purchase yourself a real nice digital camera (twice as nice as mine, probably, since mine was $400) and take pictures and stuff too :-O and with your spiffy new photoshop... well... ya know :D you could be as big as larafarie :-O oh jeez.

duh.

I love thou!!

:O I'd have to be prettier to be larafarie. At least, pretty in that exotic way. I could be *milked-cows-in-former-life :D :O

And, you know what they say... it's not the price of the equipment, but the talent of the artist. :) You could take beautiful, stunning, meaningful pictures with a $1 Pooh Bear camera. :D But $400, that's a lot of coin for a camera. :O :bling:
